Super Easy Beer Bread Recipe

Beer Bread

3 cups self-rising flour (OR, see note below)
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 (12-ounce) can of beer

1. Preheat oven to 375*F (190*C). Lightly grease or spray a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
2. Combine all ingredients, mixing well.
3. Pour into prepared loaf pan and bake for 1 hour.

Makes 1 loaf.

Note: Or you may substitute with 3 cups all purpose flour, 3 teaspoons baking powder and 1 1/2 teaspoons salt.

The beer gives this bread a deep yeast flavor. Some neat options you can use to change things a bit are: Adding favorite herbs, or seeds, or your favorite shredded cheese, etc. So good warm with butter.
